This was a short break staying in Dartmouth.
It was a warm weekend, we even saw people sunbathing and enjoyed a challenging walk near Burgh Island, Bigbury-on-Sea.

We had a short break in Bakewell February 2011 staying at the Rutland Hotel.

Turns out that the hotel had featured on the Hotel Inspector TV series.
The hotel’s kitchen was the birthplace of the Bakewell pudding for which the town is so famous while it is believed Jane Austen stayed here whilst visiting neighbouring Chatsworth and revising the final chapters of her novel Pride and Prejudice.
